Yes – it’s never been criminalised.

The age-of-consent is 15, regardless of sexual orientation.

Are there anti-discrimination protections in place for LGBTQ people in Cambodia?

No, anti-discrimination provisions that protect LGBTQ people from discrimination on the basis of sexuality are not currently in place.

This has been an ongoing point of discussion for the government in Cambodia, and it appears that there is acknowledgment that these protections need to be implemented.
